MAWC Values Statement


At MAWC we demonstrate our commitment to our consumers and fellow workers through our provision of quality day services and to achievement of our Mission, through support of the following values:


1.Consumer First   Consumers are our priority. We believe in providing clinical excellence with customer friendly service to all of our consumers. We value and encourage consumer involvement and assistance in resolving concerns. We value the feedback we receive from consumers.


2.Team Work   We believe the accomplishments of a great team are worth far more than the sum of the individual contribution


3.Flexibility   We place emphasis on being able to respond or conform to change or new and challenging situations.


4.Communication   MAWC is built on the foundation of open and honest communication and an environment that promotes recognition, respect and trust. Through respectful candor we foster a team approach to achieving excellence. We provide an atmosphere in which feedback is solicited, acknowledged and used to facilitate improvement.


5.Community   The community spirit is integral to our Mission. We strive to be a part of and to contribute to a sense of community as we carry out our Mission. Our community efforts consist of a diverse matrix of activities supporting our goals for improving the quality of life for homeless women.

8.Respect   Respecting and drawing upon our diversity is how we build and enhance the quality of our products and service. Our diverse make-up gives us the collective wisdom to understand the diverse needs of the women we serve. 


9.Leadership We embrace leadership as a behavior that is important to all staff to exercise on a daily basis. This means taking the initiative to see that our Mission is carried out on behalf of every consumer throughout our workday. Leadership means accepting responsibility for promoting consumer care to the highest level.
